Name Who You Think Belongs On The Fintech Power 50 2020

"Weve fired the starting gun now, its time for industry members to get moving, nominating the people and companies that are exciting them the most"
Mark Walker, Co-Founder COO, Fintech Power

Nominations are now open for The Fintech Power 50 2020 – an exclusive annual programme working with 40 of the most innovative Fintech companies and 10 of the most trusted industry thought leaders that are having the biggest impact in the broad Fintech ecosystem.

Between now and the end of June, members of the industry have the opportunity to nominate a Fintech company and a Fintech influencer that they believe should be featured in the programme. Any Fintech company or individual can be nominated, no matter where in the world they are based.

The results of this first stage in the process will be used to compile a comprehensive list of nominees – one for businesses and one for industry influencers. The public will vote on these from July to August to help identify some of the most worthy candidates to join The Fintech Power 50 programme in 2020, which will be announced at an annual ceremony at the end of the year.

Inclusion in the prestigious list not only showcases the most influential companies and individuals in the industry, it offers them access to The Fintech Power 50’s global connectivity in the broad fintech ecosystem and trusted network of Fintech companies and leaders as well.

The programme acts as a hub providing opportunities for individuals or companies to strengthen their presence in the Fintech field. This is achieved through a carefully curated programme of opportunities, from profiling them in the printed guide that is distributed at the industry’s biggest events, to a broad range of media partnerships in EMEA, North America, MENA and APAC. It also offers video content, sponsorship opportunities and networking events with some of the world’s biggest and most innovative companies (such as Google and Rise, created by Barclays, to name a few).

The Fintech Power 50 last year included some of the biggest hitters in the global financial services industry, including Brett King, world-renowned futurist and speaker, and Chris Skinner, all covering the future of business and technology. Businesses honoured on the list ranged from Fintech unicorns like Revolut and N26, to challenger banks such as Starling Bank, to PIN on Mobile start-ups like MYPINPAD. The wide range of businesses and individuals ranked highlights the breadth, diversity and creativity of the Fintech sector.

Speaking about the list, Mark Walker, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer commented: “Fintech is a fast-evolving sector, with expert entrepreneurs founding new companies to offer innovative technologies capable of transforming the way we pay for goods and services.

“Here at The Fintech Power 50, we want to celebrate this ingenuity and energy, by honouring the businesses and individuals that the industry and our Executive team believe are helping to change the financial services industry for the better. We’ve fired the starting gun now, it’s time for industry members to get moving, nominating the people and companies that are exciting them the most.”
