The Chequers Greene King pub reopened on Thursday 13 February following a six-figure refurbishment, creating a number of new jobs.
As part of the investment, the Chequers on Southborough Lane, has undergone a total refurbishment, including the introduction of a lighter colour scheme which incorporates tiled walls, signature pieces of furniture and contemporary flooring.
The bar has also been completely refurbished to provide a selection of local and national ales, plus world beers. Guests can also enjoy an updated beer garden, which includes new lighting and extensive seating.
Charlene Troth, General Manager at the Chequers, said: “The Chequers is at the heart of the Bromley community, so we are excited to be able to offer a place where locals can enjoy a drink or meal in enhanced surroundings.
“The opening was a real success, with great feedback from guests on the delicious menu and fantastic interior. We look forward to welcoming more guests in the coming weeks!”
To celebrate the opening, guests can currently redeem a free starter or dessert with any roast on the main menu. The all-day roast is available every Sunday, served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
Guests can also enjoy two meals for £10.99 all day Monday-Saturday, including favourites such as Beef and Ale Pie, Lasagne and Hunter’s Chicken. In addition, the Chequers also offers a wide selection of drink deals, such as two bottles of beer for £6, and two glasses of prosecco for £6.
