No Tobacco Day sees increase in people 'kicking the habit'

"If all UK smokers turned to vaping we could potentially save the NHS 518 billion"
Dan Marchant, Managing Director at Vape Club

Today (31st of May 2019) is national no tobacco day, a day created by the World Health Organisation to support those looking to stop the cigarettes and become smoke free.

Since last years annual day the active online conversation surrounding stopping smoking has increased according to a new graphic released by Vape Club

The graphic which can be seen by visitng https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/394691/ shows the number of posts per day regarding stopping smoking on social media and editorial platforms globally.

Dan Marchant, Managing Director at Vape Club commented on the data,

“Today is national no Tobacco day, a day that gives smokers the kick they need to put down the cigarettes. We believe that vaping should play an important part in this campaign.  Smokers should be encouraged to switch to vaping, a method that is proven to be far more effective than traditional NRT, and which Public Health England state is 95% less harmful than smoking.

If all UK smokers turned to vaping we could potentially save the NHS £518 billion. This would be 1,480 times the amount Boris Johnson told us leaving the EU would give the NHS each week. It was suggested that Brits would see £350,000,000 per week put back into the NHS.”
