In celebration of International Women’s Day, Women in the Food Industry and Forward Fooding are bringing you a new panel talk, Women in FoodTech. It will be a special edition of Forward Fooding's The Future of Food Meetup Series to celebrate International Women’s Day.

On the evening of 3rd March 2020 you’ll hear from an inspiring all female panel who will share their journeys, experiences and advice to give a great insight on what it means to be a woman in FoodTech.

Any entrepreneur or food lover will enjoy the discussion from experts and leaders in the FoodTech space who are at forefront on working in the future of food.

Agenda:

18.00 – 18.30 – Welcome, networking & intro from Lesley Stonier, CMO of Forward Fooding & Mecca Ibrahim, co-founder of Women in the Food Industry.

18:30 – 19:15 – Fireside Chat with panelists including :

Olivia O’Brien – Business Development Director at Growing Underground, the underground farm based in Clapham, London – and no. 8 on The Official FoodTech 500 List.

Hara Mihailidou – Co-Founder of Todelli a curated online #farmtotable marketplace for Chefs & restaurateurs. Hara has been in the tech industry for more than 6 years as a User Experience Designer and Director.

Tarryn Gorre – CEO & Co-founder, Kafoodle, a fast growing food-tech company matching people to food within the contract catering, hospitality and healthcare space.

19:15 – 19:30 – Introducing Aida Khan – founder of Shola Kitchen, Aida will share her story of bringing flavourful Pakistani food from the streets of Karachi to West London. After the panel you will get to enjoy some of her delicious dishes.

19:30 – 21:00 –  Organic Prosecco from Prosecco Doc, soft drinks from FACT Water, Pakistani canapes from Shola Kitchen  & networking
